Silver Lake College offers Free Employment Workshop

Silver Lake College invites individuals to attend a free employment workshop Friday, February  26 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am in the Generose Enrichment Center Room 110 on the Silver Lake College campus located at 2406 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc. 

This workshop is designed for any individual that is currently unemployed, underemployed, or simply afraid of losing their job and does not know where to begin.  This workshop is designed to help individuals identify their strengths and match them with career and job choices; understand the world of work and how to predict job changes and careers of the future; find job openings and write a resume targeted to those openings; select references and prepare for interviews; learn what to do if you need more education.

Former attendees have raved about the workshop and have offered comments such as, “I learned to look at the job market differently”; “The workshop was a morale booster in a difficult time”; and “I learned about career options for me”
