On Tuesday, November 3rd Kelly Meyer, Valders, will present an 1830s Lakota camp on the grounds of Silver Lake College, 2406 South Alverno Road in Manitowoc. The camp will consist of a full-sized tipi and living conditions for the family that resides there. Visitors will be able to see clothing, tools, and daily objects made by Meyer in the exact processes used 170 years ago. Stop by to share a warm lodge, learn about the past, and maybe catch a couple stories. The lodge will be open from 9am-2pm.
